Privacy

The short version

Your plan is private to your account. We don't sell your personal information, and Forejoy doesn't use the contents of your plan for advertising. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, and support the service.

What we hold

Your name and email address, the answers and notes you enter, the figures and assumptions you save, and the messages you send us. If you joined through the beta list, we also hold what you told us on that form.

What we never put in email

No wording you have written, no figures, no projections and no answers. A reminder may name a part of life you asked to think about, or say whether a step is finished — nothing more. Emails can appear on a lock screen or a shared computer, so we keep them plain.

Usage information

We record which parts of Forejoy are reached and when errors happen, so we can find what is confusing or broken. These records hold page names and event names only — never your wording, your figures or your plan.

Deleting your plan, or your account

Delete my plan removes everything you have saved and leaves your sign-in account, so you can start again.

Delete my account removes your account and your personal information. Your planning data, profile, beta list entry, messages to us and any private notes are deleted. A few operational records are kept because we need them: a record that you accepted the terms, with its version and date, under a reference that does not identify you; an internal log of operator actions, which points at that same non-identifying reference rather than your name or email; and, if you had asked not to receive email or had marked a message as spam, a minimal record so that choice is still honoured.

Taking your information with you

You can export your own plan and profile at any time from Settings, in a portable file. The export contains your information — not our internal operational records.

During the beta

Forejoy is changing while you use it. Please keep your own copies of anything important. Questions or concerns: use the "Send feedback" control inside Forejoy, or reply to any email we send you.
